Working stock

The reconstituted solution at a known concentration (mg/mL) that a protocol draws from.
A working stock is the reconstituted peptide solution at a defined concentration, expressed in mg/mL (or mcg/mL). It is what a research protocol actually draws from once the lyophilised vial has been reconstituted.
The concentration is simply the peptide mass divided by the diluent volume. Recording the working-stock concentration you prepared — and cross-referencing the batch against its certificate of analysis — is standard research-methodology practice.
