GHRP

Also: growth-hormone-releasing peptide

A class of research peptides acting on the ghrelin / GHS-R1a receptor — for example Ipamorelin.

Growth-hormone-releasing peptides (GHRPs) are a class of research peptides that act on the ghrelin / growth-hormone-secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a). Ipamorelin is the cleanest standalone GHRP in the research literature, referenced for its receptor selectivity.

GHRPs act on a different receptor from GHRH analogues, and the canonical growth-hormone-secretagogue research pairing combines one of each — a GHRP and a GHRH analogue.
